A day on the slopes of Discovery Ski is just what you need; camping at Seymour Campground is always a great experience. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Upper Seymour Lake with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Upper Seymour Lake.       There is a nice hiking trail near Upper Seymour Lake called the Alder Creek Trail, and the top of Kurt Peak is easily distinguished from Upper Seymour Lake. Just can't get enough of Upper Seymour Lake. The Hiline Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Upper Seymour Lake, and since you're here at Upper Seymour Lake it's a great idea to stop at Goat Flat. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Storm Lake Pass is a perfect site to go if you're at Upper Seymour                  Lake, needless to say you could also stop at Storm Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Near Upper Seymour Lake you find the Hi Line Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a lake nearby is Emerald Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Upper Seymour Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
