Through the warm days of summer at Upper Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Upper Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Butte-Silver Bow here, and after       a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Butte is a nice site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. If you need a place to stay Best Western Butte Plaza Inn is a fine choice; Eagles Nest Campground is a glorious local campground. Going for a hike along the Brazil Pack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and everybody loves Decker Flats.                  Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Upper Reservoir; why not camp at Roosevelt Campground if you're here at Upper Reservoir. Bear Gulch is in close proximity to Upper Reservoir and is unquestionably a great place to take a look at, and there's whitewater on Big Hole River for all you adrenaline junkies. It is very dried up here at Upper Reservoir frequently; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Lakes?
