Do stop by Upper Lake while you're in this part of Montana. From a rain point of view Upper Lake is a pretty normal site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. A great site to camp here at Upper Lake is Howard Lake Campground, and do take a hike on the Goat Peak Trail. Upper Lake is not the only site close by, Wanless Lake is a close by lake, and hiking along the Goat Ridge Trail is nice fun. So many
