Be careful coming to Upper Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit, and pleasant hiking is available along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt, and if you get bored of Upper Lake you could also check out nearby McKinley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing       to do around Upper Lake; BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT is a good local trail, and there are plenty of folks from Missoula here at Upper Lake. An exciting thing to go to near Upper Lake is Upper Twin Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Jellystone RV Park is a fine local campground, and Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a great spot to get some rest. Get covered with water paddling on Mill Creek, and wonderful                  scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at Marshall Mountain. Skiing at Montana Snowbowl is one of those things you just should do, and camping at St Mary's Motel is always a great experience. Around Upper Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through June; February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Upper Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
