Whitewater paddling is great on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and going for a hike on the Bowman Lake Trail is always a great adventure. You truly have to love the Lewis Range. more than one day, Bowman Creek Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby; hey, Gotta ski right? Big Mountain is a pleasant location to do that. High temperatures at Upper Kintla Lake during the warmest time of the year are in
the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Upper Kintla Lake.
