Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Prospect Shafts Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Helena. You definitely have to like Upper Holter Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hauser Lake is right next door to Upper Holter Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the 1906 Trail. Whitewater paddling is not       for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dearborn River, and unsurprisingly, this is a good region for folks who like lakes, Lake Helena is a lake close by. There are plenty of folks from Helena here at Upper Holter Lake, and you could always explore American Bar. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Upper Holter Lake. If you need a place to stay Wingate by Wyndham Helena is a great choice, and if you want to hit the beach, Black                  Sandy Beach is close at hand. Upper Holter Lake is one of the lakes here in the Big Belt Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Departure Point Campground is a delightful local campground, and swing by Ming Creek it's a brilliant site to pop by. It is very dried up here at Upper Holter Lake usually; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. The slopes of Great Divide are so inviting noone can resist, and do take a hike on the Backside Trail. Throughout the summertime months at Upper Holter Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Upper Holter Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Big Belt Mountains.
