No need to travel far to visit exciting stuff like The Crater, and what would winter be without some skiing at Discovery Ski. There is a fine hiking trail near Upper Elliot Lake called the Long Canyon Trail. There's so much to do here at Upper Elliot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Creek Campground is a good place for that. On a great day at Upper Elliot Lake you can take a hike along       the Boulder Lakes Trail, and after a long day outdoors Celtic House Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Upper Elliot Lake is close to Lower Elliot Lake Dam which is a scenic place absolutely worth checking out; a pleasant close by hotel is Brown Derby Rsrnt Bar & Motel. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Upper Elliot Lake, for example Caruthers Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Baldy is a peak you                  can see from Upper Elliot Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Upper Elliot Lake has to offer, you can camp at Racetrack Campground. All through the warm months here at Upper Elliot Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Upper Elliot Lake through the wintertime typically descend into the 10's. Upper Elliot Lake is pretty dried up regularly; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
