From a rain point of view Upper Cedar Lake is a quite normal site; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Upper Cedar Lake you can take a hike along the Crowell Trail, and Kootenai River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always       go whitewater paddling on Yaak River, and Upper Cedar Lake is not the only place nearby, Sky Lakes is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Upper Cedar Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Upper Cedar Lake. If you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a nice choice; the Pulpit                  Mountain National Recreation Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
