A visit to Ulerys Lakes is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at Ulerys Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, McGill Campground is a delightful place for that; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gallatin River. Not much rain falls here at Ulerys Lakes; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. Don't leave Ulerys Lakes without first going for a hike along

| | the Wapiti Creek Trail, and do pop by Lone Creek while you're here at Ulerys Lakes. Summertime highs at Ulerys Lakes mostly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ulerys Lakes are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Moonlight Basin is a delightful place to do that; there's whitewater on Gallatin River for all you adrenaline junkies. Everybody close by loves skiing at Big Sky, and if you need a location to stay Rainbow Ranch Lodge is a glorious choice.
