Twin Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Twin Lakes. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Twin Lakes through the winter ordinarily drop into the 10's. Have a good hiking adventure along the John Dunn Trail, and since you're here, you could visit Brown Creek. Camping is available

| | at Pelican's RV Campground, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Yellowstone River. Wingate by Wyndham - Billings is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Twin Lakes you'll meet some people from Billings for sure, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Yellowstone Crossing is a magnificent choice. Twin Lakes is mostly a quite arid place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month.
