Twin Lakes is located in the Cabinet Mountains. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Cabinet Mountains is peerless! On a great day at Twin Lakes you can take a hike along the Slimmer Creek Trail; you can stay the night at Fishtrap Campground. From a precipitation point of view Twin Lakes is a pretty typical site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.       All through the summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Twin Lakes; the night is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Lakes temperatures descend to the 10's. Going for a hike on the Daisy Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
