    Go to Twin Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. Twin Lakes is next to Quaking Ash Hollow which is definitely worth taking a look at. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Carbella Campground is a good spot for that. All the outdoors entertaining stuff next to Twin Lakes will keep you coming back again and again. Lakes are great; Green Lake is a lake that's near Twin Lakes, and don't leave Twin Lakes without first going  
   for a hike along the Fawn Pass Trail.
At Twin Lakes you can distinguish Sphinx Mountain, and Mulherin Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. Not far from Twin Lakes, you'll hit upon Aldridge Lake which is a delightful lake, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. You must positively dedicate some time to Cinnabar Basin if you're here at Twin Lakes, and Yellowstone Park North Travelodge
 
               is a pleasant location to get some rest.
Twin Lakes is pretty waterless mostly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Twin Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Yankee Jim Campground and Picnic Area; there are fine locations to discover along the Sportsman Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Cottonwood Creek, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Twin Lakes. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Twin Lakes through the winter frequently fall into the 10's.
