Don't leave Twin Lakes without first checking out Grasshopper Glacier, and drift down the rapids of Big Timber Creek in a kayak. Twin Lakes is a location that is reasonably dehydrated regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Crazy                  Mountains. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Twin Lakes get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's.
