All year is a brilliant time in the Lewis Range if you love the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Cooney Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. Twin Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. High temperatures at Twin Lakes all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime       highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Wood Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Weasel Creek Trail. Stay the night at Copper Creek Campground, and Carmichael Basin is a brilliant location here at Twin Lakes. There's whitewater on Falls Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called                  the Whitetail Creek Trail. Around Twin Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
