There's good hiking along the Jackson Glacier Trail, and Florence Falls is always fun to check out. Be careful coming to Twin Lakes, you might not ever want to return back home again. Do pay a visit to Glacier National Park while you're here at Twin Lakes; get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to       enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Lewis Range. Stay the night at Many Glacier Campground; Hanging Gardens is a wonderful place here at Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Gunsight Pass Trail, and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Hidden Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. A good vista of wonderful Fusillade Mountain is available from Twin Lakes, and                  Avalanche Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Summer at Twin Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Twin Lakes temperatures plunge to the 10's. The Hidden Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Gunsight Lake is just a very short distance away. Twin Lakes is a good spot of typical rainfall; most of the snow falls all through December while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
