There is a tremendous hiking trail near Twin Lakes called the Pole Gulch Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River. At Twin Lakes during the summertime highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 10's. A lake nearby is Hyalite Lake.

is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is not the only place close by, Fridley Lakes is a close by lake, and a great close by hotel is Imperial Inn. Any time is a perfect time at Twin Lakes if you fancy the outdoors. The Red Rock Trail is a wonderful hiking trail next to Twin Lakes, and a quick tour to Shower Creek is positively a great idea.
