    Why not stop by Twin Lakes if you're passing through these parts. Through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Twin Lakes with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Twin Lakes night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Stay the night at Lid Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Twin Lakes you always meet someone from Kalispell, and spots like Jewel Basin are fine  
   to explore.
Twin Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. You can run the rapids of Swan River close to Twin Lakes, and Twin Lakes is right by the Noisy Creek Notch Trail. Twin Lakes gets a typical amount of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Graves Creek Trail, and a lake close by
 
               is Picnic Lakes. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Lewis Range. Flathead River - Middle Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Twin Lakes; Glacier National Park is a pleasant local destination. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Fire Island Campground is a magnificent location for that, needless to say you could also stop by Cliff Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
Be careful coming to Twin Lakes, you might not ever want to return back home again. Mount Aeneas is trouble-free to spot from Twin Lakes, and a nice close by hotel is Bridge Street Cottages. Take a hike on the Tongue Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great location to spend a night or two.
