Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Lake of the Rocks. There's so much to do here at Lake Turbid that you need to camp here for a while, Little West Fork Campground is a fine place for that. So many fun things to do here at Lake Turbid, too wonderful       to be true. Lakes? Sure, Tin Cup Lake is close by. Lake Turbid is a location that is pretty waterless commonly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July. Lake Turbid is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rombo Creek Campground is a great local campground; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Castle Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Old Nez                  Perce Indian Trail, and a day on the slopes of Lost Trail is just what you need. For the duration of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Turbid, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Lake Turbid overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. While you're here at Lake Turbid you can take a hike along the Trapper Peak Trail, and a pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Hamilton Inn.
