If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a nice choice. During the summertime highs here at Tupper Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Tupper Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the McDermott Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River -                  North Fork. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Big Nelson Campground is a great local campground; you can go for a hike on the Mineral Creek Trail.
