This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Mortimer Gulch Campground is always a splendid experience, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Super 8 Cut Bank. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really bountiful here at Tunnel Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Falls Creek. Going for a hike on the Mortimer Gulch       National Recreation Trail is always a pleasant adventure; Tunnel Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Home Gulch Campground is a tremendous local campground. Do go to John Lane Reservoir near Tunnel Lake, it's a beautiful lake; the South Fork Teton-Blacktail National Recreation Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Tunnel Lake is a location that is rather dried out frequently; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the                  driest month of the year is February. Through the days of summer at Tunnel Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's.
