This lake is one of the great places here in the Cabinet Mountains. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. Hiking along the Grouse Lake Trail is good fun, and don't forget to take a glorious       little journey to Callahan Creek. Lakes? Sure, Duck Lake is close by, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Kootenai River. Troy Dam Reservoir gets a typical amount of rain; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is usually the driest month. Have a great hiking adventure along the Pulpit Mountain National Recreation Trail, and Kilbrennan Lake Campground is a glorious local campground. You absolutely must adore the                  Cabinet Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay La-vi RV Park is a nice spot to camp, and Moose Lake is a perfect lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the long summer days at Troy Dam Reservoir highs are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Troy Dam Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
