Gotta ski! Big Sky is a fine spot to do that, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Cutoff Trail. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Triple Lakes get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Triple Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter       nights. While you're here at Triple Lakes, you could also stop at picturesque High Hope Lake. Triple Lakes is a location that is rather dried out generally; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping at Beaver Creek Campground 1 is always a great experience; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Wapiti Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
