Going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a great adventure, and the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. For the duration of the months of summer at Triangle Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Triangle Lake. Triangle Lake is one       of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Triangle Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Crazy Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and not far from Triangle Lake you'll find Picket Lake which is a delightful lake. Just can't get enough of Triangle Lake. Drift down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak, and there are delightful places to look at along the Copeland Lake Trail. The view of pretty Crazy                  Mountain near Triangle Lake is pleasant, and you can stay the night at Lake Creek Campground. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. Near Triangle Lake you stumble on the Crazy Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. The amount of rain that falls at Triangle Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
