     Hiking along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail is pleasant fun; Bullion Parks is a fine site to stretch your legs a bit. Great Divide is a tremendous local ski area. There's so much to do here at Travis Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, MacDonald Pass Campground is a pleasant place for that. Through the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Travis Reservoir while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs  
   are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Travis Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Travis Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cromwell Dixon Campground, and the sight of Jericho Mountain is beautiful.
It is very dry here at Travis Reservoir typically; most of the rain falls during May, and July is when it's the driest. Cliff Lake is a nearby lake that you could go
 
               to, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Helena, Mt is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Mount Helena National Recreation Trail, and if you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Scott Reservoir.
This place, Travis Reservoir, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Take a little visit to Monitor Creek since you're here at Travis Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail. The fine folks of Helena like to hang out close by; on a tremendous day you can go to Sure Thing Swamps, a swamp near Travis Reservoir. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel.
