    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Travis Reservoir. While you're here at Travis Reservoir you can take a hike along the Sweeney Creek Ecology Trail; the slopes of Great Divide are so inviting noone can resist. There's some flowing water close by, Monitor Creek is a stream you can visit while here, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Mount Helena National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping  
   at Cromwell Dixon Campground is always a perfect experience.
Travis Reservoir is a location that is pretty dried up typically; the month with most of the rain is May while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Travis Reservoir. You'll meet a lot of folks from Helena here; don't miss out on a splendid swamp; Sure Thing Swamps is right here at Travis Reservoir. After a long day outdoors
 
               Jorgenson Inn and Suite is a perfect spot to spend a night or two; Jericho Mountain is wonderful and can be distinguished from here.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bear Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. A good spot to camp here at Travis Reservoir is MacDonald Pass Campground, and Bullion Parks is right here at Travis Reservoir. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Travis Reservoir, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows at Travis Reservoir through the winter usually descend into the 10's.
