If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Trapper Lake. Trapper Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Boulder River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Trapper Lake, and don't leave Trapper Lake without first going for a hike along the Sidehill Trail. There's so much to do here at Trapper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Livingston Campground is a great spot for that,

This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Trapper Lake, you could also visit beautiful Alpine Lake, and there's perfect hiking along the Pyramid Trail. 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Trapper Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Stay the night at Falls Creek Campground, and a quick spree to Falls Creek is certainly a glorious idea.
What a location this is for
outdoors people. Livingston Super 8 Motel is a nice location to get some rest, and after a long day outdoors Murray Hotel is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Not much rain falls here at Trapper Lake; May is the wettest
month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range.
