If you came for an overnight stay Top Of The World Campground is a great place to camp, and there are other places here than Trail Lake, for example Whitcomb Lake. Trail Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. A great place for whitewater paddling near Trail Lake is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Lakes? Sure, Spogen Lake is in close proximity. Trail Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation;

| | June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Trail Lake. There's great hiking along the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and you can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. So many entertaining things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too glorious to be true. The Granite Loop Trail offers hiking at its best; the snow is great at Red Lodge Mountain. Why not take | |

a refreshing hike along the Clay Butte Trail, and of course Lake Creek flows through this vicinity. For the duration of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 70's at Trail Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the
30's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Trail Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Beartooth Lake Campground; Park Rapids is always fun to check out.
