    A visit to Trail Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. This spot is unbeatable, just check out all the fun stuff to do near Trail Lake. If you came to camp Top Of The World Campground is a glorious location to do that; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Kidney Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Trail Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beartooth  
   Lake Campground is a wonderful location for that, and do take a hike on the Granite Loop Trail.
You're possibly into lakes, Ghost Lake is one of those nearby, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Clay Butte Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Trail Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Trail Lake all through the wintertime usually
 
               fall into the 0's. Why not go to nearby Lake Creek since you're here at Trail Lake, and a day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain is just what you need.
All the outdoors exciting things in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. A delightful location for whitewater paddling near Trail Lake is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; Park Rapids is a fine local attraction. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Trail Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a tremendous whitewater spot near Trail Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail.
