This lake is so wonderful. The Copper Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Pintler Campground is always a brilliant experience. Toomey Lake is pretty dry commonly; most of the rain falls through May; February meanwhile is the driest month. You assume that's enough? Just getting       warmed up. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Toomey Lake; Alder Creek Trail is a delightful local trail, and Discovery Ski is a very popular ski area close at hand. For the period of the summertime here at Toomey Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Toomey Lake tend to be in the 10's. Lakes are such peaceful places,                  why not go to Squaw Lake close to Toomey Lake. Good hiking is available along the Hiline Trail, and needless to say Mudd Creek is a striking stream that is worth a visit.
