Hiking is a popular thing to do around Toomey Lake; Copper Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail; Squaw Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This location rules, just look at all the amusing things to do in the vicinity of Toomey Lake. Go for a hike on the Hiline Trail, and Toomey Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Fishtrap Campground is a brilliant local campground. Toomey Lake gets very       little rain; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. At Toomey Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Toomey Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Discovery Ski has great slopes and a friendly staff. Mudd Creek flows                  through this vicinity, and don't leave Toomey Lake without first paying a visit to Toomey Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Alder Creek Trail; a lake close by is Stone Lakes.
