     The beauty of Throop Lake attracts many people from all around. Throop Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the Absaroka Range. Throughout the summertime here at Throop Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the  
   20's while Throop Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Beartooth Lake Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and going for a hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. There are other places here than Throop Lake, for example Ghost Lake, and a day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain is just what you need. Yep, outdoors cool
 
               things to do are really abundant here at Throop Lake. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun; whitewater paddling is great on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
Lakes? Sure, Kidney Lake is in the vicinity, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Granite Loop Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Throop Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Top Of The World Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Clay Butte Trail.
