A lake close by is Pilgrim Lakes, and camping at Handkerchief Lake Campground is always a brilliant experience. At Three Eagles Lakes during       the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Three Eagles Lakes. Three Eagles Lakes is located in the Lewis Range. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Three Eagles Lakes called the Peterson Creek Trail, and the top of Big Hawk Mountain is easily observed from Three Eagles Lakes. Three Eagles Lakes is a good spot of common                  precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
