This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Les Mason Campground is a good site to do that, and a round of golf at nearby Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. The Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail is a good hiking trail near Thornberg Lake. Lakes are good; Woods Lake is a lake that's near Thornberg Lake. Through the warm months       at Thornberg Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Thornberg Lake dip into the 10's.
