If you like lakes and you're in this part of Montana you can check out Thornberg Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Les Mason Campground is a good site to do that, and a round of golf at nearby Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. to spend more than a day at, Whitefish RV Park is a great local campground. Going for a hike on the Micho Trail is always a splendid adventure, and skiing at Blacktail Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Dry warm
beds await you at Kristianna Mountain Homes, and Brush Bay is in the neighborhood and always fine to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Stillwater River, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t
go skiing at Big Mountain while you're here. Near Thornberg Lake you discover the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and if you're here, you could take a look at Beaver Creek.
