Bowers Peak is a peak you can make out from Thompson Lakes, and hiking along the Sipes Creek Trail is glorious fun. Summer at Thompson Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Thompson Lakes tend to be in the 10's. Thompson Lakes       is frequently a quite dried out site; most of the rain falls all through November; the driest month is August. Thompson Lakes is right by the Meadow Ridge Trail; a lake close by is Middle Thompson Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis, and Logan Park Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Thompson Lakes is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Happy's Inn and Resort is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and the                  Slimmer Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be.
