It's always fun to stop by Thiel Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back over and over. There are other sites here than Thiel Lake, for example Ghost Lake. Lakes? Sure, Kidney Lake is nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Park Rapids is an inspiring spot to go to while here; you can stay the night at Beartooth Lake Campground.

You'll need more than a day to look at everything Thiel Lake has to offer, you can camp at Top Of The World Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Granite Loop Trail. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun, and the Upper Granite Loop Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.

the 30's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Thiel Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Thiel Lake is close to the national average; through
June this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Take a side journey to Lake Creek; everyone close by loves skiing at Red Lodge Mountain.
