Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Thiel Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Clay Butte Trail. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. A beautiful lake like North Hidden Lake in the neighborhood of Thiel Lake is a great place to have a look at; hiking along the Upper Granite Loop Trail is delightful fun.       You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Thiel Lake has to offer. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Kidney Lake in close proximity to Thiel Lake; wonderful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Red Lodge Mountain. The amount of precipitation that falls at Thiel Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Park Rapids is an                  inspiring site to take a look at while you're here, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. For the duration of the warm months at Thiel Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's.
