The beauty of Tepee Lake is reason enough to stop by. Stay the night at Kintla Lake Campground. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Tepee Lake, too magnificent to be true. Going for a hike on the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail is always a great adventure; Tepee Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Mud Creek Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. There is a perfect hiking trail next to Tepee Lake called the Akokala Lake Trail,

| | and Garnet Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Whitewater paddling is great on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Kandahar Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Tepee Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
