Estler Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and a picturesque lake like Boatman Lake is a great location to stop at. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. There is a great hiking trail next to Tent Lake called the Rhubarb Patch Trail; do stop at Minneopa Lake, it's a wonderful lake. Around Tent Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most       rain, and the driest of the months is February. This location, the Pioneer Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. There are good places to explore along the Gold Creek Trail; a nice spot is The Sandbar. So much fun stuff to do in the Pioneer Mountains, not enough time. An exciting thing to check out near Tent Lake is Boot Lake Dam; if you came for an overnight stay Aspen Campground is a delightful place to camp. High temperatures at Tent Lake through                  the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while Tent Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dillon is a delightful location to spend a night or two. The Pioneer Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Why not camp at Dinner Station Campground since you're here at Tent Lake; you obtain a nice vista of Tent Mountain from here.
