Desert Coulee is near Tempel Reservoir and is a wonderful place, and if you get bored of Tempel Reservoir you could also explore close by Vaver Reservoir. Tempel Reservoir gets very little rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. During the warmest time of the year at Tempel Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's,

| | and during the dark hours in the winter at Tempel Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Grand Union Hotel.
