If you need a location to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a delightful choice, and Townhouse Inn of Hamilton is a wonderful spot to get some rest. For the duration of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Tamarack Lake while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Little West Fork Campground is a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. is delightful, you get a delightful sight of Sugarloaf Peak from Tamarack Lake. Tamarack Lake Dam is a beautiful place right next door to Tamarack Lake, naturally you could also stop at Tamarack Lake if you're here; it's not far at
all. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Tamarack Lake is pretty dried out ordinarily; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. Be
careful coming to Tamarack Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Tamarack Lake is right by the Ward Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Boulder Creek Campground while you're here at Tamarack Lake.

Tag Alder Lake
 | 17 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
