Tamarack Lake is a lake worth visiting. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a great time. Brown Gulch is a splendid spot to spend some time at, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. High temperatures at Tamarack Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime

| | are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Tamarack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Bad Rock B&B is a glorious choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tamarack Lake; Alpine Trail is a great local trail.

Tamarack Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Beautiful Lake Blaine
Resort is a good local campground, and there's good hiking along the Doris Creek Trail. Tamarack Lake is pretty waterless commonly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. There's
so much to do here at Tamarack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Blaine Resort Campground is a nice spot for that, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Swan River.
This lake is located in the wonderful
Lewis Range. Tamarack Lake is not the only site close by, Amy Lake is a close by lake, and there's always Jessup Mill Pond Dam to go to next to Tamarack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to Glacier National Park since you're here at Tamarack Lake; the Columbia Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.
