This lake is so wonderful. Swan River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Doris Creek Trail. Tamarack Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. If you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club.
What a spot this is for outdoors people. Jessup
Mill Pond Dam has nice water scenery and it's near Tamarack Lake, and if you've had enough of Tamarack Lake, Kid Lake is nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Tamarack Lake; the month with most of the rain is June while February
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and after a long day
outdoors Bad Rock B&B is a perfect site to spend a night or two.
Tamarack Lake is located in the Lewis Range. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Tamarack Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
descend down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's, and night lows at Tamarack Lake during the wintertime typically sink into the 10's. Lake Blaine Resort Campground is a great campground nearby, and do take a hike on the Alpine Trail.
You absolutely should go for the Lewis Range.
