At Talus Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A splendid close by hotel is Super 8 Whitehall. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of beautiful Baldy Mountain near Talus Lake is       great, and Virginia City Campground is a good campground nearby. Summertime highs at Talus Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Talus Lake tend to be in the 10's. Just can't get enough of Talus Lake. Bachelor Gulch is a wonderful place to explore; since you're here you can take a hike along the                  Pedro Trail. Not far from Talus Lake, you'll locate Romy Lake which is a beautiful lake, and going for a hike along the Hyde Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
