Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Tag Alder Lake. The panorama of Mill Point from Tag Alder Lake is picturesque, and a fine                  place for whitewater paddling is White Sand Creek. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Bitterroot Range. The snow is good at Lost Trail; Blodgett Canyon Campground is a fine campground nearby. Hauf Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and you can run the rapids of Kootenai Creek. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Bitterroot Range. Dry warm beds await you at Townhouse Inn of Hamilton, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Saint Mary Peak Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful.
