Tag Alder Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Riverside RV Park is a good local campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Tag Alder Lake; Saint Mary Peak Trail is a delightful local trail. The Sweeney Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek. If you came to camp Blodgett                  Canyon Campground is a splendid site to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Townhouse Inn of Hamilton. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. All year is a wonderful time in the Bitterroot Range if you adore the outdoors. Gotta ski! Lost Trail is a glorious spot to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Hauf Lake. Tag Alder Lake is a good location of normal rain; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling near Tag Alder Lake is Kootenai Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
