Lake Sylvan is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Lake Sylvan is located in the Absaroka Range. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are delightful places to explore along the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and you can run the rapids of Rosebud Creek - West. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a great vista of Crow Mountain from Lake Sylvan, and dry warm beds await you

From a rainfall point of view Lake Sylvan is a relatively normal location; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most while October is usually the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Lake Sylvan. Plateau is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and a tremendous site to camp here at Lake Sylvan is Jimmy Joe Campground.
That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Don't
leave Lake Sylvan without first going for a hike along the Beauty Lake Trail. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Lake Sylvan get into the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 30's. All through the wintertime
the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Sylvan dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. There's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - East for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and going for a hike on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is always a fine adventure.
