If you are in Lincoln county it's always a good idea to stop by Sylvan Lake. For the period of the warm months at Sylvan Lake highs are regularly in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sylvan Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Some of the water close by flows, like Bayhorse Creek, and get wet paddling on Vermilion River.

or two. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Lodge Motel; do take a hike on the Moose Peak Trail.
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Sylvan Lake has it all. Stay the night at Willow Creek Campground,
and Sylvan Lake is not the only place close by, Miller Lake is a close by lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sylvan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pleasant Valley Campground, and going for a hike along the
Bear Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Around Sylvan Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while August is generally the driest month.
