    If you are in Gallatin county it's always a good idea to stop by Swim Lake. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Swim Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Rock Trail. A visit to Alpine Falls will fill your spirit with wonderful feelings, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Gallatin River. There's so much to do here at Swim Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blackmore Campground is a perfect place for  
   that; hiking along the Divide Trail is glorious fun.
Around Swim Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. The summit of Mount Bole can be distinguished from Swim Lake; at Swim Lake you always meet someone from Bozeman. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Moonlight Basin, and Bozeman - Days Inn is a perfect place to get some
 
               rest.
Maid of the Mist Creek is near Swim Lake and is always a diversion to take a look at; Swim Lake is right by the Pole Gulch Trail. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Arden Lake near Swim Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Palace Lake near Swim Lake, it's a delightful lake, and a cool spot to visit is Arch Falls Natural Bridge.
Summertime highs at Swim Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Swim Lake. This place, Swim Lake, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. A delightful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Bozeman. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Swim Lake has to offer, you can camp at Palace Butte Campground.

Bridger Bowl offers a very diverse ski experience with the following ratings: 20% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advance and 30% extreme. Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs. Clearly, Bridger Bowl's Ridge Terrain provides some of the most challenging skiing found within any ski area boundary!...
