Go to Swim Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Swim Lake without first going for a hike along the Pole Gulch Trail; why not a little side journey to Maid of the Mist Creek. At Swim Lake you don’t see much rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. At Swim Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's.

| | Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Swim Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River, and why not camp at Blackmore Campground if you're here at Swim Lake. Alpine Falls is a lovely spot to stop by while you're at Swim Lake, and Comfort Inn Bozeman is a good place to get some rest. Go for a hike on the Red Rock | |

Trail, and if you've had enough of Swim Lake, Blackmore Lake is close by.
Gallatin River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby; after a long day outdoors Bozeman - Days Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
Camping is available at Palace Butte Campground, and from Swim Lake you get a good view of Mount Bole. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Swim Lake. Good hiking is available along the Divide Trail,
and if you're popping by from Bozeman, you won't be the only one.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Swim Lake. Arch Falls Natural Bridge is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Swim Lake. Swim Lake
is not the only place close by, Palace Lake is a close by lake, and Moonlight Basin has perfect slopes and a friendly staff.
