All through the warmest time of the year at Swiftcurrent Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's while Swiftcurrent Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Lakes? Sure, Governor Pond is close at hand, and going for a hike on the Cracker Lake Trail is always a nice       adventure. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are great spots to have a look at, and Glacier National Park is no exception; the peak of Allen Mountain can be seen from Swiftcurrent Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Stump Lake; Apikuni Flat is a gorgeous spot any time of year. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The                  Lewis Range rocks! Rising Sun Campground is a pleasant local campground; don't leave Swiftcurrent Lake without first going for a hike along the Redgap Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Many Glacier Campground is a magnificent place to camp. So many cool things to do here at Swiftcurrent Lake, too tremendous to be true. Don't leave Swiftcurrent Lake without first paying a visit to Apikuni Falls, and there's some flowing water nearby, Allen Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay. Swiftcurrent Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; most of the snow falls throughout December, and April is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Lewis Range.
