Go to Sweeney Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. After a long day outdoors Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sweeney Lake; Saint Mary Peak Trail is a tremendous local trail. For the period of the long summer days here at Sweeney Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come

| | with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Sweeney Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
Not much precipitation falls here at Sweeney Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. the Sweeney Ridge Trail. Having a fine time at Sweeney Lake is easy. The Mill Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came to camp Fort Fizzle Campground is a pleasant site to do that.

the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kootenai Creek; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Hamilton. This lake is located in
the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Why not stop by Bass Lake Dam since you're here. Lakes? Sure, Bass Lake is in close proximity.
This lake is so wonderful. Sweeney Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Charles Waters Memorial Campground is a great local campground; there's whitewater on Brushy Fork for all you thrill seekers.
