Dead Horse Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and there are other locations here than Sunlight Lake, for example Dead Horse Lakes. It is very dried out here at Sunlight Lake typically; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All year is a good time in the Crazy Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Sunlight Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Half Moon Campground is a wonderful place for that, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Moose Lake. Summertime at Sunlight Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Sunlight Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
