Interesting geology is available here; Point of Rocks is next to Sunday Lakes, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sunday Creek. There's brilliant hiking along the Fort Steele Trail, and the Elk Mountain National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. If you need a location to stay Tucker's Inn is a fine choice, and Sunday Lakes is a nice place       to camp, Martin Falls Campground is a nice place. Summertime at Sunday Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sunday Lakes temperatures plunge to the 10's. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Stillwater River, and camping at Sunday Lakes is great fun, South Campground                  is a great local campground. This place rocks, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Sunday Lakes. A lake nearby is Blue Lake, and don't leave Sunday Lakes without first going for a hike along the Mount Marston National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Bower's Cabins, and some of the water nearby flows, like Louis Creek.
