This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a delightful choice; if you're here, you could also have a look at wonderful Elk Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Summit Lake. If you would like a little       side visit, try Eagle Pass, and the skiing at Montana Snowbowl is glorious. Camping is available at McDonald Lake Campground, and on a beautiful day you obtain a great vista of Mount Calowahcan from Summit Lake. Summit Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is typically the driest month. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Summit Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's                  mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Summit Lake.
