This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Middle Fork River Inn is a great site to get some rest, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Stoney Indian Pass Trail. You completely have to like the Lewis Range. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you thrill seekers, and nearby you find the Flattop Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is       so wonderful. Sprague Creek Campground is a glorious campground here, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Waterton Valley Trail. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Sue Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sue Lake drop into the 0's. Don't miss out on a trip to Glacier National Park since you're                  here at Sue Lake. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A wonderful location in close proximity to Sue Lake is Stoney Indian Pass, and Chaney Glacier is a splendid location to pop by while in the area. This lake is so wonderful. A good sight of pretty Cathedral Peak is available from Sue Lake, and Atsina Falls is a delightful place to check out while you're at Sue Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Sue Lake. The peaks of the Lewis Range dominate the scenery of this area, and if you came for an overnight stay Avalanche Campground is a nice spot to camp. It is very waterless here at Sue Lake mostly; the month with most of the snow is December, and April is the month with the least moisture.
