     So much enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of Sue Lake, clearly astonishing. If you came to camp Avalanche Campground is a fine place to do that, and don't leave Sue Lake without first going for a hike along the Flattop Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork; Sue Lake is not the only location nearby, Stoney Indian Lake is a nearby lake. All the outdoors  
   entertaining things in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back time and again. If you're here at Sue Lake, checking out Chaney Glacier is a must, and Glacier National Park is one of the destinations that are brilliant to have a look at close by.
Sue Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sprague Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground; you can go for a hike on the Waterton Valley Trail. Sue Lake is right next door to Stoney
 
               Indian Pass which is without doubt worth a visit, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Glacier Park/Columbia Falls is a magnificent choice. It is very dried up here at Sue Lake frequently; most of the snow falls all through December while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of striking Cathedral Peak near Sue Lake is good; don't leave Sue Lake without first paying a visit to Atsina Falls. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a tremendous time. A range like the Lewis Range here at Sue Lake is always beautiful; a lake close by is Atsina Lake. Going for a hike on the Stoney Indian Pass Trail is always a fine adventure.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. For the duration of the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Sue Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Sue Lake.

Fabulously beautiful area, dense grizzly population and zero people.  Not too hard to get to crossing Flattop on bits of an obsolete trail from Fifty Mountain, then skirt along the open hills sides near Trapper Peak.  One scary steep hardpan ravine must be crossed where a slip would send you plunging 1000 feet down to Lake Nahsukin.  An axe would be helpful, otherwise just run real fast so your momentum will carry you to good footing on the far side....
