    In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Sue Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Waterton Valley Trail is always a perfect adventure, and a fine spot to camp here at Sue Lake is Sprague Creek Campground. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here; Stoney Indian Pass is another good site to visit close by.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. Sue Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Avalanche Campground is a magnificent local campground, and nearby you stumble on the Stoney Indian Pass Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Sue Lake sits in the shade of the Lewis Range, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. Sue Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range.
During the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Sue Lake with
 
               nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Sue Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do close to Sue Lake. Atsina Falls is always fun to check out, and Chaney Glacier is a splendid site to go to while in the area. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mokowanis Lake is near Sue Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Flattop Mountain Trail.
Sue Lake is mostly a quite dry site; the month with most of the snow is December; April is when it's the driest. And that's not all the things to do here in the Lewis Range. One of the principal marks of the surroundings of Sue Lake is Cathedral Peak, and you can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork.
