Man, is there a heap of fun things to do near Stump Lake. Don't leave Stump Lake without first checking out Grinnell Point, and Many Glacier Campground is a nice local campground. A common amount of rain falls here at Stump Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while April is commonly the driest month. So much cool stuff in the Lewis Range, just inspiring.       There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline junkies; some of the water close by flows, like Allen Creek. Stump Lake is located in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. Allen Mountain is clearly visible from Stump Lake. While you're here at Stump Lake you can take a hike along the Piegan Pass Trail, naturally you could also go to Grinnell Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather                  is great here at Stump Lake, you can go for a hike along the Cracker Lake Trail, and naturally, all our national parks are delightful locations to pop by and Glacier National Park is no exception. The Grinnell Glacier Trail is a nice hiking trail right next door to Stump Lake, and Swiftcurrent Falls is a glorious local attraction. Summertime highs at Stump Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Stump Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Lewis Range.
