In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Stump Lake is one of them. Stump Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; April on the other hand is the driest. There are some great whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork; going for a hike along the Cracker Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful.

| | All through the days of summer at Stump Lake highs are regularly in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Stump Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. Camping at Rising Sun Campground is always a perfect experience, and hiking along the Piegan Pass Trail | |

Stump Lake really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. While you're here at Stump Lake you can take a hike along the Grinnell Glacier Trail; at Stump Lake you can catch a glimpse of Allen Mountain.
Allen Creek flows through this vicinity, and if you came to camp Many Glacier Campground is a great place to do that. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Lewis Range. Swiftcurrent Falls is always fun
to check out; dry warm beds await you at Rising Sun Motor Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Stump Lake, you could also check out close by Falling Leaf Lake; don't leave Stump Lake without first checking out Grinnell Point.
