The beauty of Striped Elk Lake attracts many people from all around. Striped Elk Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month is April. All year is a good time in the Lewis Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Rotunda Cirque is a good place to check out, and do take a hike on the Fielding Coal Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Striped Elk Lake

All through the summer months here at Striped Elk Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Striped Elk Lake dip into the 10's. So many cool things to do here in the Lewis Range, too magnificent to be true. Why not camp at Devil Creek Campground while you're here at Striped Elk Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers
some brilliant whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork; here at Striped Elk Lake you can observe Battlement Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy
this spot. Glacier National Park is a fine national park, and Striped Elk Lake is right by the Park Creek Trail.
